About the Event
Environment & Sustainability Cohort CSA is conducting a session on waste segregation which aims to educate on the importance of proper waste management, focusing on separating waste at the source. This practice helps reduce landfill waste, promote recycling, and protect the environment. The session covers different categories of waste, such as biodegradable, non-biodegradable, recyclable, and hazardous waste. Participants learn practical steps to segregate waste in households, workplaces, and public spaces, along with understanding the benefits of sustainable waste management, like reduced pollution and resource conservation.
